Our company was founded in April of 1976, in order to supply interior decoration which was considered to be an undeveloped area in the Korean domestic market in the 70's.
Based on the aesthetic view point that interior decoration products need to be considered as items that effect the atmosphere or workingconditions, our company signed an exclusive contract with the world-renowned, US interior decorations company, ARMSTRONG.
Initially the company's strategy was to sell the top products to the exclusive elite class. However, as the consumers started to recognize
our products, our products received continuous attention from office spaces, hospitals and public offices.
As a result of our hard work, the perception towards interior decoration changed the domestic market.
Not only did it become the subject of high investment and immense attention, it supported the fact that we were working hard towards improving
the product quality and developing various new designs.
Additionally we signed an AGENT contract with BMK STODDARD that manufactures Wall-to-wall carpets. This allowed us to supply and install wool
carpets in hotel rooms, corridors and resort ballrooms.
By improving the shortcomings of products produced by both companies, we were able to obtain the world's first patent for the PVC flooring material,
which has a cushion function in the design of a honey comb, wallpaper(TOPNYL, SOMVYL), 100% Nylon carpet TECSOM which is guaranteed for over 5 years,
TAPIOM and, we are currently receiving supplies of TAPSIOM from France's TARKETT SOMMER company which has more than 100 years of history.
Not like Wool carpet, TECSOM and TAPISOM are being established with low prices in various places such as offices, retirement home for the aged,
and hotels as well. Nowadays, worldwide innovative products of TARKETT SOMMER are used in more than 50 countries all over the world.
We’re widening the lighting market by getting supplies from Italian company, ARTEMIDE of lighting fixtures which suits with all kinds of demands
from classic style to modern style or from commercial use to household use. Appearance of ”TIZIO”(1972 Rechard sapper), which had been acknowledged
to be “the great masterpiece beyond all lighting level” among numerous interior designers and architects, expresses strong will of common electric
knowledge can’t be the only solution of complicated structure and technical difficulties as well as accomplishing artistic creation.
These days many people regard Artemide as TIZIO, TOLOMEO, AGGREGATO.
Also, our company had succeeded in getting a patent by developing LED(light emitting diode) so called next generation lighting.
LED’s is compatible for showcase stage lightings due to its 100 thousand- long durability, moderate maintenance price which enables to save energy,
using DC24V/12V power is totally safe, and availability of digital color changes.
We had established the OY light in Italy with a staff from Artemide and have been doing product development as well as merchandising. Kun-yang Inc.
